Field notes on Android tower defense

Your defense has to change when the match does.

In Tower Rush, both players fight on the same battlefield in real time. A good opening gives you room to adjust when your opponent starts putting pressure somewhere else.

Three moments to pay attention to in competitive tower defense.

  1. Before the first wave

Give each tower a job before you place it. If you know which stretch of the route it should cover, you can see where a second tower would add coverage.

  2. When the pressure changes

When your opponent changes tactics, watch which enemies start getting farther along the route. That can tell you whether to strengthen a spot you already cover or fill a gap elsewhere.

  3. After the match

Pick one placement or upgrade you would reconsider. In the next match, see what happens if you make that decision a little earlier or in a different spot.
